dc.description.abstractThe current qualitative action research study aims to describe the impact of using storytelling in order to improve listening and speaking skills in learning English as a foreign language, in the private kindergarten “Mis Ositos de Pinar II” the participants involved in the research project were Young learners (YLs) aged 5 to 7 years old. (The research design of this study was qualitative, and the type of study was action research) the data collection instruments that best worked for the analysis of the study were journals, checklist, and sociometry choice matrix. Lastly, the findings and conclusions highlight how listening and speaking skills were improved by using storytelling as a methodological strategy to teach young learners.
