Obesidade infantil: fatores que a influenciam e a atuação da Educação Física como coadjuvante na prevenção e combate desta doença.

Abstract

O presente trabalho aborda a importante temática sobre a obesidade infantil e como a educação física escolar pode ajudar no combate desta doença. O objetivo é investigar a causa geral da obesidade, após, analisar a questão da obesidade infantil, suas causas e classificações, e, por fim, abordar a atuação da educação física escolar no enfrentamento do referido problema. Para tanto, foram realizadas revisões bibliográficas, bem como inserção de dados coletados em bibliografias, sites e outras fontes. Concluiu-se que a educação física escolar, por meio de práticas corporais, contribui, significativamente, na prevenção e eliminação da obesidade infantil, possibilitando ao aluno uma vivência mais saudável e ativa.

The present work addresses an important theme about childhood obesity and how school physical education can help in the fight against this disease. The objective is to investigate the general cause of obesity, after analyzing the issue of childhood obesity, its causes and classifications, and, finally, to address the performance of school physical education in facing this problem. For that, bibliographic reviews were carried out, as well as insertion of data collected in bibliographies, websites and other sources. It was concluded that school physical education, through body practices, contributes significantly to the prevention and elimination of childhood obesity, allowing students to live healthier and more active.
