Educação Ambiental e Artes: um estudo sobre dissertações no Brasil (1981-2019)

Abstract

A presente pesquisa se insere no âmbito do projeto EArte: Estado da Arte da Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental no Brasil”. Nesse projeto, um grupo de pesquisadores tem investigado a produção de pesquisas sobre Educação Ambiental em áreas específicas do conhecimento. Já foram desenvolvidas pesquisas na área de Direito, Sociologia, Psicologia, e agora em Artes. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar e analisar dissertações sobre Educação Ambiental desenvolvidas em programas de pós-graduação em Artes. As questões de pesquisa são direcionadas a identificar temas, referenciais teóricos metodológicos e questões de pesquisa dessas produções. A pesquisa aqui em pauta é de natureza qualitativa, do tipo “estado da arte”. O corpus documental foi selecionado no banco de dados do “Projeto EArte” e a análise das 5 dissertações selecionadas foi desenvolvida com base no referencial teórico-metodológico de Bardin (2011) - “análise de conteúdo”. Após a análise das dissertações, objetivando responder nossas questões de pesquisa, identificamos em 4 produções relatos de práticas em Educação Ambiental e em 1 produção uma abordagem voltada ao desenvolvimento sustentável. Quanto aos referenciais teóricos notamos a presença significativa de autores de teoria crítica como Paulo Freire, Walter Benjamin e Ana Mae Barbosa. As questões de pesquisa das produções são direcionadas a compreender como as Artes podem contribuir com o processo educativo da EA

The present research is part of the project EArte: State of the Art of Research in Environmental Education in Brazil”. In this project, a group of researchers has investigated the production of research on Environmental Education in specific areas of knowledge. Research has already been carried out in the area of Law, Sociology, Psychology, and now in Arts. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze dissertations on Environmental Education developed in graduate programs in Arts. The research questions are aimed at identifying themes, methodological theoretical frameworks and research questions from these productions. The research in question here is qualitative in nature, of the “state of the art” type. The documentary corpus was selected from the database of the “EArte Project” and the analysis of the 5 selected dissertations was developed based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Bardin (2011) - “content analysis”. After analyzing the dissertations, aiming to answer our research questions, we identified in 4 productions reports of practices in Environmental Education and in 1 production an approach focused on sustainable development. As for the theoretical references, we note the significant presence of authors of critical theory such as Paulo Freire, Walter Benjamin and Ana Mae Barbosa. The research questions of the productions are aimed at understanding how the Arts can contribute to the educational process of Environmental Education.
