dc.description.abstract | The effects of positioning cefalodeclive (Trendelenburg to 30°) compared to the supine position on hemodynamics parameters were evaluated in rabbits anesthetized with propofol. Twenty animals were premedicated with ketamine (25 mg/kg IM) and xylazine (5 mg/kg IM). The anesthesia was induced with propofol at a dose sufficient for intubation, followed by maintenance with the same drug (1.0 mg/kg/min). The rabbits were submitted to pneumoperitoneum and placed in Trendelenburg position to 30 ° (G1) or horizontal position (G2). The variables were: heart hate, systolic, diastolic and mean arterials pressures and venous central pressure. The first data sampling was carried one hour after anesthesia induction (M0) and every 15-minutes intervals (M1 to M5). Numeric data were submitted to Profile Analysis (p <0.05). The position of Trendelenburg did not interfere in the hemodynamic variables studied. | |
