The practice of Mindfulness, researched and applied in different clinical context, translates as a sequence of attention exercises in the present, without judgment, which allows for the reduction of stress, symptoms of anxiety, depression and insomnia. Social Skills, on the other hand, synthesized as a set of behaviors such as expression of feelings and opinions, which favor the resolution of interpersonal conflicts and problem solving are the focus of some more recent Brazilian organizational development programs, aimed at preparing workers for internal and external organizations interactions. Despite its potential health benefits, the association of these practices is still incipient in organizations, according to the bibliographic review carried out in the Pepsic, Scielo, and Pubmed, for the last 5 years. The article presents the concepts of Mindfulness and Social Skills and the importance of teaching and training Mindfulness, assertive communication, active listening and recognition of emotions in work organizations, especially to personnel managers, who are responsible for caring for relationships, reducing stress factors and expanding the quality of life of workers.
