Casca de soja na alimentação de vacas leiteiras: revisão bibliográfica

Abstract

The present review sought to gather information from several sources, including specialized websites, technical bulletins, articles published in national and international journals, books and publications from specialized institutions regarding the use of soy husks in the feeding of dairy cows. With the data obtained, it was possible to compare the results of several studies showing some aspects of soybean husk as an ingredient in dairy cows' feed and its influence on milk production that proved to be efficient with regard to quality, palatability, high fiber content without changing the welfare and health of the dairy cow. In this context, it was possible to conclude that the use of soybean husk to feed dairy cows is a good alternative to replace corn in view of its versatile and nutritious character.

A presente revisão buscou reunir informações de diversas fontes, dentre elas sites especializados, boletins técnicos, artigos publicados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais, livros e publicações de instituições especializadas a respeito da utilização de casca de soja na alimentação de vacas leiteiras. Com os dados obtidos foi possível comparar os resultados de diversos trabalhos mostrando alguns aspectos da casca da soja como ingrediente de rações para vacas leiteiras e sua influência na produção de leite, que se mostrou eficiente no que diz respeito a qualidade, palatabilidade, alto teor de fibra sem alterar o bemestar e a saúde da vaca leiteira. Nesse contexto foi possível concluir que o uso da casca de soja a alimentação de vacas leiteiras é uma boa alternativa de substituição do milho tendo em vista seu caráter versátil e nutritivo.
