It is not unusual that the documentation of business process models is ambiguous, incomplete or non-existent. One reason for this is the lack of a standard for building BPMN models despite the diffusion of good modeling practices. In this direction, this paper presents heuristics sets (business heuristics) to help guide business process modeling teams for improving the textual quality and graphic expressiveness of the models. The documentation level evaluation of each BPMN element is done using a classification scale with four levels. In this paper, the applying evaluation of the heuristics has used a system that automatically extracts information from business process models to compose software documents.
