dc.description.abstractSkimming reading strategy or global reading has been used widely in EAP/ESP-Instrumental English courses. In fact, this strategy must be considered in the first interactive reading phase in a reading class. It is a way to empower students’ reading ability. In this paper, I will discuss my experience with the skimming implementation and assessment of Physics students at The Sciences and Technology Faculty at University of Carabobo -FACYT UC- through the design of creative scientific posters.
