dc.descriptionThe need to prepare General Education teachers for Vocational Training and Professional Orientation in schoolchildren with Asperger Syndrome is the subject of attention of this article. Different authors and their theoretical conceptions about the previously mentioned topic were reviewed, as well as, the founding stated by the Statistical and Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders of the American Psychiatric Association with respect to Autism Spectrum Disorders and especially Asperger's syndrome. The development of the study required the use of different research methods such as analytical-synthetic, historical-logical, systemic-structural, inductive-deductive, abstract to concrete, together with, interviews, observations and surveys, supported by descriptive statistical techniques. The objective of the research was to diagnose the preparation needs of teachers in terms of vocational training and professional orientation in schoolchildren with Asperger syndrome in conditions of inclusion and to be able to determine the regularities from processing the information obtained.en-US
dc.descriptionLa necesidad de preparar a los docentes de la Educación General para la Formación Vocacional y Orientación Profesional en escolares con síndrome de Asperger constituyó el centro de atención del presente artículo. En este trabajo se puntualiza en concepciones teóricas de diferentes autores con respecto a la preparación del docente en el ejercicio de su profesión, así como lo relacionado al proceso de formación vocacional y orientación profesional, y se hace alusión además a lo que plantea el Manual Estadístico y Diagnóstico de Trastornos Mentales de la Asociación Americana de Psiquiatría con respecto a los Trastornos del Espectro Autista y sobre todo el síndrome de Asperger. Para el desarrollo del mismo se requirió de la utilización de diferentes métodos de investigación como el analítico-sintético, el histórico-lógico, el sistémico-estructural, el inductivo-deductivo, el tránsito de lo abstracto a lo concreto, así como entrevistas, observaciones y encuestas, apoyados por técnicas estadísticas descriptivas. La investigación tuvo como objetivo, diagnosticar las necesidades de preparación de los docentes en función de la formación vocacional y orientación profesional en escolares con síndrome de Asperger en condiciones de inclusión y poder determinar las regularidades a partir de procesar la información obtenida.es-ES
