dc.descriptionThe paper proposes a set of activities aimed at depeloping the ability of estimating with length units in 5th students with a practical and integral view in correspondence with the demands of primary school model. It also uses methods of the empirical, theoretical and mathematical level, a more then, observation, survey, analysis of the results of the activity, analytic- synthetic, inductive- deductive, historic- logical, and percentage analysis. It establishes the development levels in 5th grade students in the ability of estimating, and it reveals the possibility of strengthen this ability. The activities proposed are endorsed bi the criteria of specialists as appropriate, new and feasible. en-US
dc.descriptionLa investigación propone actividades con las unidades de longitud en escolares de 5. Grado, dirigidas al desarrollo de la habilidad estimar, las mismas poseen un carácter integrador y práctico en correspondencia con las exigencias del modelo de la escuela primaria. Utiliza métodos del nivel empírico, teórico y matemático, entre los que se destacan: observación, encuesta, análisis del producto de la actividad, analíticosintético, inductivo-deductivo, histórico-lógico, modelación y el análisis porcentual. Establece el nivel de desarrollo de los escolares de 5. Grado en la habilidad estimar y revela la posibilidad de potenciarla, lo que se proyecta a partir de las actividades elaboradas, las que son avaladas por el criterio de especialistas como pertinentes, novedosas y factibles.es-ES
