| dc.description | En este artículo nos centraremos en la producción teórica deRodney Arismendi después del importante proceso de transformación delPartido Comunista de Uruguay a partir de 1955, cuando se produce ungiro político que deja atrás posiciones muy dogmáticas y prácticas militantesfuertemente sectarias. En particular, en su discusión sobre las vías deaproximación al socialismo y diversos aspectos teóricos sobre la revoluciónsocialista (fases de la revolución, cuestión del estado, teoría de revolucióncontinental, la democracia, etc.). El diálogo con el proceso revolucionariocubano ocupará un lugar fundamental, intentando distanciarse tanto delas visiones que a su juicio intentaban extrapolar mecánicamente determinadosaspectos de la Revolución cubana a otras realidades, como tambiénde aquellos que no podían extraer conclusiones fundamentales desde unaperspectiva marxista que la revolución cubana ponía a la orden del día.
In this article we will focus on the theoretical production of RodneyArismendi after the process of transformation of the Communist Party ofUruguay after 1955, when there is a political turn that leaves behind verydogmatic positions and strongly sectarian militant practices. In particular, inhis discussion of the ways of approaching socialism and various theoreticalaspects of the socialist revolution (phases of the revolution, question of thestate, theory of continental revolution, democracy, etc.).
