Corredor de saberes: vavasati vatinhenha (mulheres heroínas) e redes de mulheres e feministas em Moçambique

Abstract

O principal objetivo deste trabalho é analisar como se organizam os movimentos de mulheres e feministas em Moçambique, compreender suas principais agendas e lutas políticas por direitos a partir da Rede Fórum Mulher. O problema que estimulou a realização desta pesquisa é duplo: a persistência por um lado, do desconhecimento da produção intelectual feminista e de gênero africana na América Latina no geral e no Brasil em particular e, do outro lado, de uma visão ocidental ainda dominante das mulheres africanas como vítimas e não como sujeitos de sua própria história, que desenvolvem em seus próprios contextos e condições históricas estratégias de resistência às várias formas de opressão e discriminação. Como forma de contribuir para a reflexão deste problema realizamos entre os anos 2016 e 2018 uma pesquisa empírica em Moçambique cuja abordagem teórico-metodológica é interdisciplinar e de inspiração etnográfica, tendo como recursos as técnicas de entrevista, da observação e descrição nos espaços frequentados, bem como, numa vasta revisão da literatura existente sobre gênero e feminismo, formas de organização e resistências das mulheres em África, com foco para o país em estudo. A articulação de uma epistemologia interdisciplinar fundamentada principalmente nos feminismos Sul-Sul, que cruza aspectos da Antropologia, da História, da Sociologia e diversas produções e abordagens teóricas, como por exemplo, decoloniais, interseccionais e nos níveis macro e micro sociológicos, possibilitou-nos compreender que as mulheres africanas e moçambicanas em particular lutam pelo protagonismo de sua própria história. Entre as potências do trabalho está a visibilidade de suas lutas cotidianas e a busca pelos direitos junto ao Estado, que incluem o direito ao próprio corpo, à cidade, ao trabalho, à terra e ao reconhecimento da sua contribuição social e econômica tanto no espaço público como no privado.Também revelou que a visão de África apenas como campo de produção de dados precisa ser superada, pois, como procuramos demonstrar especialmente a partir da vasta produção intelectual de mulheres e feministas africanas e moçambicanas, o continente é lugar também de uma produção teórica e empírica fundamental e digna de conhecimento e circulação pelo mundo afora.É pensando na possibilidade de uma maior circulação deste conhecimento e no estreitamento de relações de troca de experiências intelectuais Sul-Sul de forma mais simétrica, perene e permanente entre pesquisadoras/es e ativistas que intitulamos este estudo Corredor de Saberes: vavasati vatinhenha (mulheres heroínas) e redes de mulheres e feministas em Moçambique .

Abstract : The main objective of this work is to analyze how women's and feminist movements are organized in Mozambique, to understand their main agendas and political struggles for rights from the Fórum Mulher Network. The problem that stimulated the realization of this research is twofold: the persistence, on the one hand, of the ignorance of feminist intellectual and African genre production in Latin America in general and in Brazil in particular, and on the other hand, of a still dominant Western view of African women as victims and not as subjects of their own history, who develop in their own contexts and historical conditions strategies of resistance to various forms of oppression and discrimination. In order to overcome this problem, we carried out an empirical research in Mozambique between 2016 and 2018, whose theoretical and methodological approach is interdisciplinary and ethnographic in inspiration, having as resources the techniques of interviewing, observation and description in the spaces frequented, as well as as in a broad review of existing literature on gender and feminism, forms of organization and resistance of women in Africa, with a focus on the country under study. The articulation of an interdisciplinary epistemology based mainly on South-South feminisms, which crosses aspects of Anthropology, History, Sociology. and diverse theoretical productions and approaches, such as decolonial, intersectional and macro and micro sociological levels, enabled us to understand that African and Mozambican women in particular are protagonists of their own history. Among the powers of work is the visibility of their daily struggles and the search for rights with the State, which include the right to own body, to the city, to work, to land and to the recognition of their social and economic contribution both in the public space as in private. It also revealed that the vision of Africa only as a field of data production needs to be overcome because, as we seek to demonstrate especially from the vast intellectual production of African and Mozambican women and feminists, the continent is also a place of fundamental theoretical and empirical production and worthy of knowledge and circulation throughout the world. It is thinking of the possibility of a greater circulation of this knowledge and of the closer relations of exchange of South-South intellectual experiences in a more symmetrical, permanent and permanent way among researchers that we call this study "Vavasati vatinhenha (female heroines) and networks of women and feminists in Mozambique".
