Manejo de recesiones gingivales mediante cirug?a pl?stica periodontal. Revisi?n de la literatura

Abstract

[Espa?ol] Hoy en d?a la cirug?a mucogingival incluye varios procedimientos que ayudan a corregir defectos en cuanto a morfolog?a, posici?n y dimensiones de la enc?a. Debido a que estos procedimientos tienen un enfoque est?tico el t?rmino cirug?a pl?stica periodontal ha sido propuesto como el m?s apropiado, siendo el cubrimiento radicular uno de los procedimientos est?ticos que ha alcanzado mayor inter?s en la cirug?a mucogingival. Tomando en cuenta que en estudio se se?alizar?n los tipos de injertos m?s utilizados en el ?rea, las relaciones que existen entre el tipo de injerto y el fenotipo periodontal, adem?s de las t?cnicas utilizadas con el fin de cubrir dichas recesiones gingivales. El objetivo de esta investigaci?n es describir el manejo de las recesiones gingivales en este caso espec?ficamente mediante las diferentes t?cnicas que componen la cirug?a est?tica periodontal.

[English] Nowadays, mucogingival surgery includes several procedures that help correct defects in morphology, position and dimensions of the gingiva. Because these procedures have an aesthetic approach, the term periodontal plastic surgery has been proposed as the most appropriate, with root coverage being one of the aesthetic procedures that has achieved the greatest interest in mucogingival surgery. Taking into consideration that the study will indicate the types of grafts most used in the area, the relationships that exist between the type of graft and the periodontal phenotype, as well as the techniques used in order to cover these gingival recessions. The purpose of this is describe the management of gingival recessions , in this case ,specifically through the different techniques that conform periodontal plastic surgery.
