dc.descriptionSARS-CoV-2 hit the international economic system hard and Paraguay was no exception. For this reason, this work aims to analyze the projections of growth and unemployment worldwide and in Paraguay, during the COVID-19 crisis (2020-2021). For this, abibliographical-documentary type research was used, with a quantitative approach. Among the main results of this research, the drastic fall experienced by the world economy was identified, as well as the complex situation that Latin America is going through and that, despite having fallen in its economic growth and increased levels of unemployment, the situation is comparatively better than other countries in the region. Also, among the main conclusions, are the high connection between the Paraguayan economy and abroad and its resilience in the face of adverse circumstances.en-US
dc.descriptionEl SARS-CoV-2 golpeó con fuerza al sistema económico internacional y Paraguay no fue la excepción. Por esto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar las proyecciones de crecimiento y desempleo a nivel mundial y en Paraguay, durante la crisis del COVID-19 (2020-2021). Para ello, se recurrió a una investigación de tipo bibliográfico-documental, con enfoque cuantitativo. Entre los principales resultados de esta investigación se identificó la drástica caída que experimentó la economía mundial, la compleja situación que atraviesa América Latina y que a pesar de haber caído en su crecimiento económico e incrementado los niveles de desempleo, la situación es comparativamente mejor que en otros países de la región. Asimismo, entre las principales conclusiones, se encuentran la alta conexión existente entre la economía paraguaya y el exterior y su resiliencia ante circunstancias adversas.es-ES
