| dc.description | The purpose of this article is to present the legal frameworks on the education of persons with disabilities, after accession to the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (year 2006) and its implementation in Latin America. Particularly I will focus on the case of Argentina to reflect on the tensions, paradoxes and discussions that are currently taking place and that are similar to those that are taking place in other regions of America. They are the result of several years of research by a study group on the subject of a project called “Practices and Discourses on Disability, Body and Education”, carried out in the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences at the National University of La Plata, between the years 2013 and 2017. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo tiene como finalidad presentar los marcos legales sobre la educación de las personas con discapacidad, luego de la adhesión a la Convención Internacional de los derechos sobre las personas con discapacidad (año 2006) y su implementación en América Latina. Particularmente me centraré en el caso de Argentina para reflexionar sobre las tensiones, paradojas y discusiones que se están dando actualmente y que son similares a las que se están dando en otras regiones de América. Las mismas son el resultado de varios años de investigación de un grupo de estudio en la temática de un proyecto denominado “Prácticas y Discursos sobre Discapacidad, Cuerpo y Educación”, llevado adelante en la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación en la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, entre los años 2013 y 2017. | es-ES |
