dc.descriptionEven events such as Holy week, black and white carnivals, Gastronomy Congress, Bullfight Fair and Horse riding parades, among others, are spaces and practices that could be considered as a part of the cultural identity of Popayan and its inhabitants, also have become in places and events in which a certain phenomenon of polarization is stablished, in which a clear rejection to “them” and a reiterated support to the “us”, dividing the cultural web and many times denying it.en-US
dc.descriptionAunque eventos como la Semana Santa, las Fiestas de Blancos y Negros, el Congreso Gastronómico, la Feria Taurina y las Cabalgatas, entre otros, son espacios y prácticas que pueden considerarse como parte de la identidad cultural de Popayán y sus habitantes, también se han convertido en lugares y acciones frente a las que se establece un fenómeno de polarización, en donde se observa un claro rechazo por el “ellos” y un apoyo reiterado hacia el “nosotros”, dividiendo el tejido cultural y muchas veces negándolo.es-ES
