The present work has a study, design and implementation approach in the application of the high-frequency switching AC-AC converter. An overview of the types of converters is shown, as well as technologies used. In this scenario, the Boost converter is specified, since it is the main topic of the study. The solution will be developed with the concepts of Boost converters, with the control executed by a PWM signal. Therefore, the focus of this project will be the mathematical analysis of the operation of the structure, simulation in computation environment and the development of a prototype for a practical verification.
