dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the quality of some brands of Portland cement sold in Campo Mourao, Parana, during March 2012.The experiments were performed in the laboratory of concrete Federal University of Technology- Parana (UTFPR). Experiments were carried out to measure the compressive strength, fineness and take the time prescribed standard NBR 7215. There were soon after the completion of this research was the variation of resistance at 28 days of each type of cement. The test results are presented in this paper, and the theoretical part of vital importance for research.
