dc.description.abstractThe use of experimental practices in the teaching of sciences is a topic of great relevance because there are many indications of great impact on the learning in sciences. In Brazil this theme is poor discussed yet, but it has national repercussion in dealing with strategies that can contribute to the DCN. In this work, was objectified the quantitative proof of the impact of a given experimental practice on a given group of high school students. By means of a theoretical class, application of a questionnaire, execution of an experimental practice and subsequent application of a new questionnaire after experiment, was verified through the performance in the questionnaires that the experimental practice increased the level of understanding of the students, evidencing a more effective learning, where the performance increases varied from 15% to 35% in relation to the previous questionnaire.
