Simulações e ajustes de funções de proteção para sistemas elétricos de potência

Abstract

This work presents a study of electrical power systems protective functions, focusing on computer modeling of each of functions discussed on the course of the work. It is very important that the protection system operates correctly in order to keep the coordination and selectivity. Therefore, it is essential that the setting of a protection functions is done properly to meet these system requirements. Thus, a computational tool can be very useful for analysis of protection operation. It’s intended in this work to present some computational models of protection functions such that the user can adjust them and check the performance obtained from simulated or recorded data from the electrical system. This work may also be used as an educational tool for studies on protection functions.
