Abstract

This research presents a theoretical and conceptual approach to the issue of sharing information and knowledge, focusing on Strategic Management of Fleet in the city of Sao Jose dos Campos. Discusses the concepts of logistics management, information flow and fleet of vehicles. Presents opportunities for review of administrative procedures in a local public body. Discusses scenarios: current and proposed, based on the literature concerning the matter. Complemented by a field survey, the study found, through a questionnaire and data collection, expenditure on the fleet of vehicles. Brings as a result of the study proposed a deployment system for vehicle fleet management, streamlining and resize the correct number of vehicles is himself or others.
