The present work aims at bibliographic revision of concepts related to three-phase induction motors, frequency inverters, sine pulse width modulation to support scalar control techniques in three-phase induction motors. Was also performed a simulation of a three-phase voltage inverter, with scalar speed control, applied to a three-phase induction motor with the rotor squirrel cage type in MATLAB/Simulink. After validating the programming, the programming was transferred to a digital signal processor. Also, a prototype was fabricated from which the results of the work were obtained. The results obtained were in relation to the simulation and prototypes were satisfactory within the pre-established conditions.
