dc.description.abstract | The late 2000’s crises has deeply changed the liqueur consumption over the world, increasing the demand for high quality products but also, with an accessible price. This scenario has opened the market, which has had been controlled by big companies, to new and small crafts business to present their products. In this case, it is possible to observe in the market a good opportunity to engage a new company with high quality liqueur, supplying consumers who have been looking for “premiumization”. In order to fulfill this demand and grab the opportunity the planning of an adequate factory layout is very important. This project considered this scenario and developed da optimized layout which is currently under installation process in a factory located in the city of São José dos PInhais-PR. The company works with three different prducts with different production processes, and with this information along with precedence diagrams, flowcharts and benchmarking, with all that, we ally the study of the physical structure, productivity and financial moment of the company, to develop, using the SLP method as base, a flexible, viable and executable factory layout, which using a mixed physical disposition that mix the disposition by line and by process, is able to overtake 2000 monthly units produced. | |
