dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a machine design of a testing equipment for automotive suspension. The lack of specials tools for the diagnosis of automotive suspension components makes it difficult for automotive professionals to find any problems and also increases car accident risks considering that tests on public roads are commonly used as a way to diagnose the condition of automotive suspension components. This machine design aims to simulate the working conditions of automotive suspension with an electro-pneumatic system that allows the automotive professional to diagnose the automotive suspension components under stress. The use of electro-pneumatic components simplified the machine construction and brought satisfactory functionality with maximum working frequency of 2.57 Hertz and air consumption of 1,520 liters per minute.
