Avaliação da qualidade da água de Campo Mourão – PR através do programa VIGIÁGUA

Abstract

The primary purpose for the water quality requirement is to protect public health. The criteria adopted to ensure this quality aim to provide a basis for the development of actions that, if properly implemented with the population, will guarantee the safety of the water supply through the reduction of waste in the water, these constituents in the water known to be Hazardous to health. Aiming at the importance of water quality and the harm caused to the population due to its insalubrity, this study aims to evaluate the water quality of the municipality of Campo Mourão - PR, through the national VIGIAGUA program, established by the Ministry of Health. The problems of the quality of the water supply and the consequences of the use of this need the correlation of more rigid inspection measures that go from the water of the supplier and the one of use, mainly, to punctuate the problems with the potability of the water and to guarantee the compliance with legislation.
