Residência de software em uma disciplina integralizadora

Abstract

The concept of Software Residence (RS) is based on the model of medical residency, but instead of students to practice activities in hospitals, such activities are experienced in real environments of software development. An RS project brings benefits to both companies and resident students, as it produces qualified professionals. Aiming to exploit these benefits, this project presents a case study regarding the execution of a software residency project in integralizing discipline, carried out in partnership with the company Mar Virtual (from the city of Dois Vizinhos-PR). An integralizing discipline is a discipline that integrates various concepts learned by students in the course, until the semester in which the discipline is offered. Details of the methodology used to apply RS in an integrating discipline are presented in this document. Student performance and satisfaction of all involved with the project were evaluated, showing good results.
