dc.description.abstractThis work analyzed and identified environmental risks in a small bakery in the southern region of the state of Paraná. The environmental risks (physical, chemical, ergonomic, mechanical and biological) were evaluated observing the Regulatory Norms (RN) of the Ministry of Labor and Employment. The methodology used to evaluate the ergonomic risks was the OWAS method for posture analysis and the NIOSH method for load analysis. The results showed that the posture adopted by the worker in the service sector is inadequate, and it is necessary to guide the workers about a better posture while working. In relation to the load, we found loads of weight above the limit recommended in the production sector. Noise and temperature measurements were also performed, the indexes are in accordance with the standard. From the risk parameters assessed, it was identified that are improper posture and lighting. Overload of weight and unprotected equipment are those that have the greatest potential to cause damage to the worker’s health and physical integrity. Therefore, some suggestions were made to the company, contributing to the improvement of working environment conditions.
