Jogo de pôquer Texas Hold'em para Android

Abstract

With the development of cell phones and the first Android devices being released, it made it possible to develop applications for different kinds of cell phone models and brands. Since Android became popular, many applications were developed, especially for games. As Poker is a very popular card game, Brazil included, and most of Android poker games are playable only on the internet, I was motivated to work on this project with the main purpose of showing the development process of a Poker Texas Hold’em Android Game, using Bluetooth as a substitute for the internet. This project also aims to introduce the game architecture, the Android and poker story, the main points of some technologies used to develop this software and why it was used. As a result, a Multiplayer Poker Game based on Android was developed with Bluetooth connection support which allows the user to play and enjoy it on travels or on places with no internet connection.
