dc.description.abstract | This paper presents as an objective to analyze the linguistic-ideological representations about Portuguese classes, of students in 9th grade of a public school in the southwestern state of Paraná. The composition of the corpus is based on discussions in class, a research-action experience. The inclusion in the research context took place in a Portuguese class and popular literature text study. Some guiding questions served as initial exploration of context with the aid of a study of the poetic text Aos poetas clássicos of Patativa do Assaré. The theoretical framework presents concepts about language, variation, prejudice and some analytical categories of Discourse analysis, as discursive formations, paraphrase, polysemy, ideology, subject, speech, among others. The results show, in general, a prejudice that is still present in school in relation to the less prestigious variants of Portuguese. It is important to highlight that the normative teaching of the language, that still occur, may explain the ideological language construction as a single manifestation that does not accept variation and spread the concept of right and wrong, a teaching that tries to unify the spoken and written language as a single thing, a standard procedure. | |
