Manutenção preditiva em motores elétricos: um estudo de caso

Abstract

This work of course completion presents a case study regarding the predictive maintenance in electric motors in a pulp and paper industry. In it, some general concepts about electric motors are discussed, such as basic operating principle, types and constructive aspects, as well as to cover important fundamentals related to failures, where it is sought to illustrate the practical aspect, classifications, real examples and what the occurrence of failures in rotating machines may cause. Another issue of great relevance is the maintenance of discourse about its types, techniques and management models. By establishing a parallel with the subject of predictive maintenance in electric motors is also contextualized the current scenario where the case study in question is concerned, such contextualization refers mainly to a section of this work aimed at exposing the main numbers that surround the infrastructures and production.
