The use of “Class A” waste from civil construction brings many benefits to society and the environment. This is an integrative literature review study that aims to analyze the use of “Class A” waste from civil construction after being processed in a recycling plant. 22 studies were selected that discuss the theme. It was found that RCD recycling plants bring many benefits to society, as well as to civil construction, through the reuse of waste in other products used in the works. Analyzing the data obtained in the publications on construction waste, it can be seen that there is a greater generation of waste from concrete, mortar, brick, ceramics, tiles and ceramic blocks, among others. It is noteworthy that, of the products generated by recycling, aggregates are the products that most appear in publications, demonstrating that this material can be reused in civil construction, as well as gravel and crack, which are also produced in recycling plants. In addition to these products, it was also highlighted in publications, sand, mortar, concrete artifacts, asphalt concrete, eco-pavement, ecological bricks and bonding bricks, among other products. It was concluded that the products generated by the construction and demolition waste recycling plants are following what is recommended in the National Solid Waste Policy, aiming to protect public health and environmental quality, in addition to encouraging the adoption of sustainable standards of production of products, by encouraging recycling.
