dc.description.abstractThe workability of concrete is an essential term to achieve the performance objectives in construction. Through it, and to suit the different types of concrete needs. For drier concrete used in the production of sealing plates, the workability is a term little investigated, their determination methods are not as widespread as the reduction test (slump test). In this context, the aim of this study is to evaluate the workability of concrete to seal blocks used in two companies of Campo Mourao - Pr, with the utensil consistometer modified Vebe a specific experiment to determine the consistency of concrete with characteristic more dried. Initially companies to gather data for the traces of their mixtures were visited, types of machines used vibrocompressoras and company production data, gathering of concrete samples for the experimental realization with consistometer modified Vebe. The results of the experiment were used to tailor a possible change in moisture content companies, also to draw conclusions as to the concrete relationship with the productivity and the yield established by the machines, and to make a comparison about their samples on the workability found. The conclusion is that companies are mixtures with inadequate as the moisture content, which generate concrete consistently outside the parameters provided by ACI 211.3 (1975), with this, the vibrocompressoras machines being unable to get the best results for your productivity and income.
