Atividade física, qualidade de vida e estilo de vida em policiais militares do Centro de Operações Policiais Militares (COPOM)

Abstract

This study aims to measure and identify through instruments, levels of physical activity, quality of life and risk behaviors from Center of Military Police Operations. They were randomly selected and meeting the inclusion criteria of Military Police Members housed in the Military Police Operations Center located in the capital of Paraná. Data were collected through a semi-structured questionnaire consisting of 42 questions through Google forms, containing questions already standardized by validated instruments, which came from the questionnaire (IPAQ) and (WHOQOL-8) developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), and (FANTASTIC LIFESTYLE) generic instrument that was developed at the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University in Canada. Therefore, the results were planned and related to the work functions developed within the corporation. The prevalence of physical activity was 77.0%. There was an association between family income and quality of life and body mass index, family income with lifestyle. Future studies should analyze a representative sample to estimate the behavior of Military Police Members.
