This work presents the steps of specification and development of a monitoring system for the central operation of small hydroelectric generation (power plants), belonging to a private agent of the national electricity system, aimed at optimizing power generation by centralizing of its operations. The platform used was the supervisory system ElipseE3, with the property that agent licenses. Through this center you can control the entire sequence starting and stopping of the generating units, make adjustments and maneuvers of power switchgear substation. The information is monitored in real time by means of alarms and events in synoptic screens and stored in the database, enabling the query through historical research tools and graphical analysis.
