In order to achieve high production with low cost it is extremely important to be aware of what represents up to 60% of the cost of production, food. When searching for higher productivity per animal, the bulky (pasture, silage and hay) alone are not enough. In this case, in addition to the bulky, the feeding of milk cattle should be increased by a mixture of concentrates, minerals and some vitamins. In this context, precision nutrition is applied so that the use of food is maximized and consequently increasing the efficiency in the use of them by animals. The objective of this study was to evaluate the productive and economic effectiveness of individualized feeding in dairy cattle. The experiment was conducted at the experimental station of IDR - Paraná in the city of Pato Branco. Data were collected from 21 to 36 lactating cows during the years 2016 to 2019. Every day data on milk production and quantity of each ingredient of the animals' diet were collected, as well as market research in relation to the price of each insumum in the period. The data were tabulated and analyzed through descriptive statistics and regression analysis for some variables. It was found that the higher the production in liters of milk, the lower the cost of feeding, and this ratio was explained in 33.07%. The cost of feeding represented on average 45.7% in relation to the amount paid per liter of milk. The method demonstrated economic and productive viability, besides making true the relationship between kg of concentrate offered and production in liters of milk.
