Pronto Curitiba: atendimento de urgência na rede privada de saúde

Abstract

The objective of this work is to assist CuritibaÕs citizens and its visitors when choosing an Emergency Care Unit, in the private health network, when the service does not represent an emergency. An application for mobile devices, called Pronto Curitiba, was developed to allow users to find a unit based on the following factors: travel time to the location, estimated service time, medical specialty, and medical insurance. The need for the project arose from personal experiences, due to the difficulties and time spent in finding relevant information from the cityÕs private health system.
