| dc.description.abstract | Governments continue with initiatives to achieve universal sanitation services in the country, but the Brazilian sanitation sector still requires several changes. In 2019 about 100 million people do not have access to adequate sewage in Brazil, between January and March 2020 public spending to treat problems arising from the lack of sanitation reached R$ 16.1 million with the Unified Health System (SUS ), causing 40,000 hospitalizations, which corresponds to 4.2% of the beds available in the SUS occupied to treat problems caused by the lack of adequate basic sanitation. The high cost, both for implementation and for the generation contractor, are still the main difficulties faced by small municipalities in the implementation of an adequate sanitary sewage system. The present work aims to prepare a preliminary project proposal for a sanitary sewage system for the municipality of Guaraíta-GO, following the current standards and specifications recommended by SANEAGO - Companhia Saneamento de Goiás S / A. Based on the literature review, it was presented the main components of a sanitary sewage system, the important parameters for the preparation of the design study, and what are the current aspects of basic sanitation in Brazil and of sanitary sewage systems (SES) in small municipalities . After that, using the CESG Software, made available by the Technological Center Foundation for Hydraulics (FCTH), of the University of São Paulo (USP), the dimensioning of the network for a part of the municipality of Guaraíta - GO was carried out, a brief verification of the relative result. of the dimensioning done by CESG was also carried out, in addition to this, a budget estimate, at pre-project levels was carried out. Finally, the main difficulties that small municipalities have to implement sanitary sewage systems were exposed, and those faced during this design study. | |
