dc.description.abstractThe proper monitoring of the performance of any equipment is essential for its maintenance. Specifically, for the case of equipment used on digital systems of supervision, control and monitoring, like: servers, network switches and RTU’s, that possess software and hardware resources that influences in many ways in the functionality of the system as one. For each one of these resources, performance indicators can be defined and those will be helpful to make the best decisions to guarantee that those systems fulfill its functions on all its life cycle.These indicators are normally concentrated on each equipment, as well as on intermediate collect systems mainly available on the market. Many of the companies that are contemporary to ITAIPU Binacional, has as part of their original design using equipment with analog technology, those whom after that, had implemented digital systems for supervision and control, such SCADA. In many cases, had not been considered from the beginning a system of maintenance management to control dynamically the information generated by the growing amount of digital equipment. Taking this into consideration, this work suggests the definition the implantation of a Management and Monitoring System for AT assets, besides the definition of a mechanism for the integration with a CMMS. Will be analyzed the impact of this in the management of the maintenance of AT assets and the possible indicators to be defined for the evaluation of its maintenance quality. Is expected that this actions to have a complete view of the state of the digital assets related to the process and the adaptation of the maintenance methodology applied to them.
