dc.description.abstractThis work presents an analysis of the dynamic behavior of a structure with four degrees of freedom through application of the Mode-Superposition Method. For the determination of modes to vibrate and natural frequencies that characterize the system is uses the problem of eigenvalue and eigenvector. The problem of eigenvalue and eigenvector is solve by the inverse iteration method, iteration subespacial and QR method. An analysis is performed by comparing the values obtained for the natural frequencies and modes of vibration by different methods and the values given by the command eig software Matlab®. Certain system parameters, the Mode-Superposition method is applied to calculate the mass, stiffness, strength and the nodal displacement.
