Análise da qualidade da água de abastecimento público após a reservação em unidades escolares

Abstract

The central aim of this work was the analysis of water supply quality, after its reservation, in 9 public schools, since water is essential for life and can be responsible for disease transmission such as cholera, shigelose and enteric fever. Based on this and with the help of ordinance nº 888, of May 04, 2021, that stipulates the procedures of control and surveillance of water quality for human consumption and its potability standards, a sampling was carried out in the schools and the following parameters have been tested: total coliform group bacteria, apparent color, pH and turbidity intending to analyze if the parameters required by legislation have been achieved. The results found have shown security in the 9 samplings analyzed. It can be concluded that the responsible company for the treatment and water supply, in the investigated units, is complying with the legislation for the investigated parameters.
