dc.description.abstractThe social inequality is a reality from current days, this situation results in a lot of consequences, one of them is a social exclusion. This term is related to the loss of opportunity because of the financial situation of people. The sports usually include the people in society, taking the youngs away from the streets for being idle, bringing them to a new perspective of participation and education and many times stimulating them to continue with the sports practice and maybe even start a sports career. In this case, we have the public policy which is developed by the different federative entities that have the purpose to promote the sport, in all your dimensions, offering programs for the sports practice. Under this perspective, this work verified which way the program EE10 assist the social inclusion of youngs in vulnerability situation at the city of Curitiba/PR. This work has a qualitative and exploratory character and crosssectional design. It was applied one questionnaire with nine open questions to four teachers who work at EE10 program in peripheral neighborhoods of the city. The data analysis occurred by the content analysis with transcriptions of interviews technique. It was possible to verify that EE10 program helps in the social inclusion of children and young that participate in the program, taking them away from the streets and allow them to live a different reality from the one that they live, inside the sport. Also was verified the value of the program, in the teacher’s vision, to the population around the community centers and how the program collaborates with the relation between the sports and the community.
