dc.description.abstractThe present work was developed in a supermarket, in the bakery sector, aiming to reduce the total displacement ranged in the productive environment. The research was motivated mainly by reports of excessive tiredness, delay in manufacturing and too many collisions between employees during the production process. For the development of the work, the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) was used, which is characteristic in studies of functional physical arrangement. After its application, a reduction of about 15% was obtained in the total displacement occurred in a daily workday.
