dc.description.abstractThis work is thematic teaching Biology in Brazil involving the different theories and intentions embedded in the process. Is your goal to understand how historical transience determined the structure of teaching this science and how the school is positioned in relation to different historical periods. From readings, comparisons and analyzes can build a general understanding of the development and improvement of content and teaching methods that were inserted into the realities school students to form with a certain degree of knowledge of the methods of scientific investigation. It is evident that the different philosophies interfered in the composition of the notion that education is equally important to consider is that the conception of science was gradually modified before the pragmatic notion that had until then. Therefore, it is essential to reflect on the multifaceted teaching so that it is possible for the teacher and the student a greater understanding of their roles in a place determined by external conditions and their influence on learning.
