dc.description.abstractThe 410MiNo is used in repairs by the welding process on metals that have been worn by the cavitation of water, steam and the marine atmosphere. Its coating is applied in hydroelectric turbines, rotors and pump housing, tube of control of heating, among others. That is, all equipment that is subject to operating conditions where good mechanical properties and wear resistance are required, so that it has a longer service life. In this work will be studied the coated electrode process and its parameters to make these repairs. The objective is to analyze the quality of the weld where the deposition material is the ER 410 NiMo, special for welding martensitic steels, in a sample of soft martensitic steel CA6NM, which has a great niche in the market of machines and parts that are resistant to corrosion and wear. To validate the study, three test methods were used: Penetrating Liquid, Vickers Microhardness, and scratch wear test.
