dc.description.abstractThe present work sought to estimate and compare the efficiency of the converters to increase and increase the quadratic, approaching as operating conditions, as static generator and power, of an application in an isolated photovoltaic nanogrid system. For this, mathematical analyzes were performed considering ideal and non-ideal converters, searching in the ideal equations a means of designing them and non-ideal equations more precisely compared with a practice. Simulations and also an open-loop implementation of both converters were performed for comparisons with the theoretical results and discussion of the same. The theoretical and practical results were close and the boost converter was more efficient than the quadratic boost converter for the same static gain and power.
