Estudo da influência da organização do trabalho sobre a carga mental e física do trabalhador da indústria moveleira de São Lourenço do Oeste - SC

Abstract

This study analyzes the work demands in the production process of the furniture sector. Assessing jobs from two measurement methods, NASA TLX and the NIOSH equation. The productive sector that involves the markets of wood and derived products stands out for its economic and social impact, at both the global and national levels. The furniture industries are evidenced by presenting little known demands in the activities of the jobs. This research was carried out in the work environment in three companies. The evaluation methods used make it possible to know the factors and capacities and limitations of the worker, which describes the characteristics of the work organization, facilitating the quantitative and qualitative presentation of the results. The survey of the working conditions was performed through the application of the NASA-TLX ergonomic tools to measure the work demands and the NIOSH equation for the factors that interfere from the operators point of view. The sample of the research was presented by 29 workers from the production sector belonging to furniture companies where measurements of the activities performed in the different jobs were applied. The research presented the result of the ergonomic tools, where the physical load and level of frustration were indicated, where the two demands presented higher incidence rates. In the NIOSH tool the result of the stations was presented, showing that the highest index presented in the research is the weight of the load and it is difficult to carry out the activities. The results showed that most of the tasks assessed in the NIOSH equation include the lifting index and the weight of the load. The activities were punctuated with an index higher than three and considered to be of high ergonomic risk. The research presents the jobs, which need deployments and improvements to carry out the activities in all companies. During the elaboration of this study it was possible to identify that, regardless of the size of the company, the workers performed similar activities, being vulnerable to ergonomic risks, safety and occupational accidents. The study found that employees are not satisfied in any way with the current job situation, or even by the company or co-workers.
