Tingimento natural aplicado ao segmento casual chic: uma proposta urbana

Abstract

In this work the concept and other facings of natural dyeing are presented, the technique of artisanal origin capable of coloring substrates through dyes extracted from plants, ores and vegetables, beginning in the past centuries. Over time, as a consequence of the technological evolution together with the need to increase textile production, the dyeing processes underwent changes: from natural dyes to synthetic dyes. With this change, the dyeing methods in the industry have become pollutants and, in order to use the synthetic dye properly, there is a need for a high water consumption, which is more of an environmental problem. Due to this problem, the focus of this work is to retake the technique of artisan dyeing, to establish the concept of sustainability and through the experimental methodology, to apply the best natural dyeing in pieces of clothing in the casual chic segment, in order to reduce some impacts caused to nature.
