Levantamento da entomofauna no Parque Ecológico Municipal Jirau Alto em Dois Vizinhos Paraná

Abstract

The urban centers are constantly expanding, causing negative impacts on biodiversity. The human action has led to several changes in ecosystems and in many cases, considerably changing the fauna and flora. Several agencies are used as bio-indicators in monitoring ecosystems, especially insects, since they are animals in greater abundance. Thus, knowledge of the insect fauna contributes to the development of Protected Areas. In this sense, the objective of this study was a survey of the insect fauna of the Parque Ecológico Municipal Jirau Alto – PR, in order to support future projects and complement the management plan for the park. The study was conducted in Parque Ecológico Municipal Jirau Alto, Dois Vizinhos – PR city, along at the Trilha Ecológica, that borders the river Jirau Alto. The samples were collected monthly from March 2014 to February 2015, in six points, using a trap type Pitfall and a trap type Malaise at each point. The collections points were spaced at least eight meters of the margin Trilha Ecológica e 120 meters between points. The collected samples were transported to the laboratory of Biological Control Federal Technological University of Paraná, Câmpus Dois Vizinhos, where were screened at the family level with the help of taxonomic keys. It was carried out the topographic mapping of the park with the use of Geodetic and topographic GPS, in order to support the study. The 12 samples taken totaled 5.868 specimens belonging to nine insect orders and 40 families. The four families that present occurrence percentage were: Nitidulidae (19,04%), Formicidae (17,43%); Phoridae (17,42%); Drosophilidae (16,94%). It was found that there was only temporal separation of families, with occurrence trends in the rainy season. There wasn’t spatial separation of families, since the distribution was homogeneous along the trail. The temperature ranged from 15,8ºC to 25,2ºC influencing the family richness. The index of the Shannon and Pielou They showed the dominance of the above four families. The diversity of insect families identified in the park was average, with the four main families are cosmopolitan occurrence.
