Estudo de caso APAE rural de Campo Mourão: adequação à NBR 9050

Abstract

Noting that the number of people with disabilities does not increase in Brazil each year, it is necessary to adapt, especially, existing establishments, since it is not possible to have accessibility in their structures and it must also be taken into account that this process is intrinsically linked to the right of coming and going, which is not exercised when hosting architectural barriers disrupting and preventing some people from entering, enjoy and services, issues, services and structures. In view of this situation, this paper studies the NBR 9050: 2015 standard in order to adapt as APAE Rural de Campo Mourão facilities is not the reference to the accessibility of the institution’s students. This is done through field surveys (photos and measurements) that serve as a basis for the preparation of documents, projects and theoretical conceptions of changes, adaptations and improvements in the institution’s accesses, furniture and equipment, to the APAE board of directors.correct and adjust the points raised in this work. With a performance, APAE Rural de Campo Mourão, with the function of assisting people with disabilities, is the best solution for life, since it will pass its own infrastructure and accessible to students.
