dc.description.abstract | With the request for convenience and home security, was developed an automation system to facilitate the control of some devices and the management of energy and water resources, as well as a module to increase the security. The automation system was embedded on a Raspberry Pi, there controls an Arduino and offers communication interfaces implemented in form of a REST (representational state transfer) web service. The interface that provides the components for the user to control and management the automation system is available for Android platform. In this system all relevant requirements for home automation were efficiently attended and with free technologies and tools, still providing the possibility of further expansion, such as other platforms for management and control of the embedded system by the user. | |
